Academician¡¯s suggestions on how to keep in good health

One, adjustment: Two, maintenance; Three, control; Four, enhancement.
First rule is adjustment. That is, eating fruits first and then having a meal. But the group in deficiency-cold condition, the old, children and women are not available in this way, who should eating fruits between two meals. Besides, fruits like hawthorn and persimmon can not be eaten before meals.
Second, maintenance¡ª¡ªmaintaining our good habits, high fiber intake and food diversification. Mushroom, fruit and vegetable are high in fiber, which, however, can¡¯t be absorbed so it doesn¡¯t contain any heat with its function of adjusting intestinal tract.
Third, control. Meat, oil and salt must be controlled to be ingested as these are directly related to chronic disease.
Forth, enhancement. We should eat more mushrooms, fruits, milk, grains and potatoes.
I have to say a few words by summarizing my ten years of exploration. That is, we should eating fruit before having a meal and everyday we should drink half a kilo milk, eat a egg and three kinds of fruits, arranging one vegetarian diet with less oil, salt but more vegetables.
